Dr. Jerome Tannenbaum is an accomplished nephrologist, physician-executive, and healthcare entrepreneur with decades of experience founding, leading, and scaling major dialysis and renal care organizations. His career has been defined by building high-quality, innovative care delivery models that expand access to specialized kidney services across the United States.  
 

Dr. Tannenbaum has served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of several national dialysis providers, including National Nephrology Associates, DSI Renal, and REN Corporation - organizations that grew into leading providers of renal care under his leadership. He also founded Sanderling Healthcare and later Sanderling Renal Services, where he continues to serve as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. Sanderling focuses on delivering dialysis, nephrology support, and telemedicine services to hospitals and communities with limited access to specialty care.  
 

Earlier in his career, Dr. Tannenbaum founded Medical Information Management Systems, an early developer of electronic medical record technologies designed to support dialysis clinics and nephrology practices. His work has consistently centered on improving patient access, strengthening clinical operations, and modernizing the systems that support renal care delivery.  
 

Backed by decades of renal care leadership, Dr. Tannenbaum brings the clinical perspective and operational experience needed to guide ONNIX’s strategy and clinical collaborations. His insight will play a central role as ONNIX enters clinical validation.
